Customer Service
Whether riding a fixed route bus, a paratransit van, or traveling by the Community Transportation Coordinator program, customers will receive improved customer service through a united call center with customer service representatives that are familiar and able to coordinate a trip using the various buses and services that the Polk Transit Authority will offer.
Public workshops were conducted during May and June 2010 to review the plan framework with citizens, in various areas of the county, and receive their comments and suggestions for improvement of the plan. The plan was well received with an often asked question “When will it happen”; it’s up to the citizens in November to determine if they want to fund the local portion cost of the plan so the five year phase-in can begin in July 2011.
